Denton Trip

Hey All,

After having spent a day at Denton, with the family, I feel more confident that we should organize a group day for anyone who wants to come.

I will be happy to set things in motion and come up with some ideas for the day. I just need some feedback on what interest anyone has.

Brad and I took our 12 year old daughters down the splopes and we all watched a 5 year old boy rip down the easier trails.( of course he was an excellent rider).

There is some silver lining in the cloud, the mention of any area being suitable for development of trails is good news.

Suitable in management areas identified in Table 7 for bicycling. (See Below)

Brokenstraw Valley Trail

Great job to the riders that did the footwork to get land owner permission for the new trails in the Brokenstraw Valley. It has been a long time coming and hopefully just a beginning for future single track else where in the local area.

Denton Memorial Week-end

Ski Denton, outside of Coudersport, is planning a big mtb week-end to kick of the season. Check out their website for more details. We are planning on going and joining in the festivities. Anyone else have any thoughts on driving out there? ( it takes about two hours to get there.)

That is the hardest 8 miles I have ever tried to ride in my life. I Can't wait until next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AOC Tanbark Trailwork

Abraham Hollow

Four of us rode the Abraham Hollow / Snowmobile trail this evening. It is in great technical condition. The top is pretty dry. The grading from last spring is smoothed down. The drop out trail behind Hartland Homes is in fantastic fun condition ( this part makes rocky gap seem like a paved road.)

Easy ride tonight

Stopped in to Hollyloft Yesterday to order my wifes truing stand.( she is such a grease monkey). Anyway Cindy told me that they just got in two used Rockhoppers and are selling them at a pretty fair price. Eric also said that they have gotten in a Raliegh m80.
